Dreading PE Class

We have found that though Physical Education is a required part of every student’s education, some students dread going to PE class.

Based on statistical data and feedback from students, this fear is rooted in the fact that not every student excels at athletics. It is hard for a student to have fun if they aren’t given equal opportunity to have an integral role in their class. So how can you implement a program that will empower kids and give them a desire to attend class and be active?

360 Hoops Competition

At 360 Hoops we wanted to create an environment where every student can have an important role on their team. In our competitive gameplay, you are able to engage more than 20 students in an activity that keeps them focused and ensures each of them feel needed. Since players have the ability to score on any of the 3 hoops, players that typically dominate traditional basketball will be forced to work as a team to defend and score. This means moving the ball quickly and effectively so that every member of their team has a chance to score or make a great play. This format also gives skilled students the chance to be a leader and unskilled students the chance to build confidence, making it more fun for everyone.

Have Fun!

We have showcased our hoop to schools in many states across the country as well as players as young as kindergarten and as skilled as a professional basketball player. All have given the same feedback… “This is a lot of fun!” or “360 Hoops gives me more opportunity to practice and be engaged.” At the end of the day, what matters is that people playing on our hoops are developing their skills, learning valuable life skills, and having fun! But don’t just take our word for it, watch the testimonial video below and listen to what an Elementary Teacher had to say after experiencing our gameplay and curriculum for the first time!
