“When Dr. Naismith invented the game of basketball, he invented it as a Physical Education teacher with the goal of getting students of every skill level involved. I see 360 Hoops as just another evolution of that original purpose.”

As we began showcasing 360 Hoops in many states across the country, we had the opportunity to hear from some of the students after they experienced a 360 Hoop for the first time.

Daryll Gill is a basketball referee with over 30 years of experience. He shared with us his perspective on the innovative design of our 360 Hoops basket. “When Dr. Naismith invented the game of basketball, he invented it as a Physical Education teacher with the goal of getting students of every skill level involved. I see 360 Hoops as just another evolution of that original purpose,” Gill tells us. He further states, ”the game play on a 360 Hoop allows players that aren’t the fastest or best athletes to participate and contribute to the outcome of a game.” When asked what his favorite part of 360 Hoops he told us, “my favorite part of this is the strategic opportunity players have to incorporate their teammates, the level of competition, and coaching opportunities… I can just see this taking off!”
