One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is, “Is it hard to assemble a 360 Hoop?”
The quick answer is absolutely not.
Our adjustable hoop assembles in just a sequence of quick steps. The only tools you need are: a ratchet, 9/16” driver and a ladder.
Place one side of backboard assembly face down on cardboard, again making sure not to scratch the surface. Insert the post into the hub and rotate until the mounting holes in the top of the post align with the holes in the top of the cap. Install 3/8” screws and washers. Leave screws finger loose until all three are installed, then tighten. *Do not force screws into threads!* If the screws can’t be placed in by finger than the assembly is in a bind. Have the person move the post until it becomes easy to get the screw to thread in.
Add base to bottom of post, rotating to align screw holes. Install 3/8” screws and washers. Leave screws finger loose until all three are installed, then tighten.
Using three or more people, rotate goal into a standing position. *Caution* Casters WILL try to roll as the goal rotates upright. Chock the wheels and/or have someone at the base to prevent the goal from taking off.
Add four 45lb weights to each base weight post.
Add base pad and ensure all velcro is tightly fastened. Check for any issues leaving exposed metal.
Add pole pad. Due to the thickness, it will most likely take some body weight to force it onto the pole. Velcro seam.
Add rims to easy off brackets.
Grab a ball and play, because YOU’RE DONE!
